ICAS

• Annual assessment
• Designed for recognising academic excellence for high potential students
• All students will receive a general review of their performance and awards which can be used to build their academic portfolios
• Provides additional challenges and extension within an assessment environment for high achieving students
• Sitting window for each subject is open for 5 consecutive days. Subjects spread over 3 weeks
• Online only*
• Results released online in approximately 4-6 days
• All students will receive printed certificate of achievement. Highest performing students have an opportunity to win medals and attend medal award ceremonies held annually

Principal's Award

Principals may wish to award this certificate to students who have made progress that may not have been recognised otherwise. The awarding of Certificates is entirely at the discretion of schools.

The percentages allocated to awards are approximate and will vary according to the number of students taking each test and the distribution of their scores.

ICAS Medals

Students with the top score in each subject in each year level are awarded a medal and a medal winner’s certificate. It should be noted that students must have written the relevant assessment on the official ICAS sitting date and the result must be judged as sufficiently meritorious to be eligible for a medal.*

* Terms and conditions apply. Home school students and some regions are not eligible for an ICAS medals.
